Lead Organizer

Overview of Role
Green Mountain Space is looking for a hard-working, highly organized individual to join our team of organizers.
Works Closely With Client, Organizers, Project Manager, Inventory Manager, and Administration
Status: Part-Time Employee Position with potential for Full Time Hours, hours are not guaranteed.
Compensation: $20-$23/hour, with review after 6 months
ORGANIZED
You must have experience as a Professional Organizer or managing a team and appreciate the benefits of organization.
CREATIVE
Creativity is a must! Our job is to find functional and beautiful new solutions for our clients.
PERSONABLE
This is a big one - especially to become a GMS Team Lead. This is a new experience for most clients and being easy to talk to and ask questions is important.
FUN
Organizing can be a daunting and overwhelming task to clients. It is our job to make the process a fun and to give our clients the confidence and tools they need to maintain their spaces.
FLEXIBLE
This isn't a typical 9-5 job. This position will be project-based. Must be open to a fast-paced continuously improving environment.
Monday-Friday between 8am and 5pm - Flexible schedule that can allow anywhere from 6-36+ hours/week
Willingness to learn the Green Mountain Space way to keep projects on-brand
Work with clients to help customize new organization systems for their lifestyle
Must work well in a team environment and know how to lead a team where time sensitive problem solving is critical!
Have stamina for long, physically demanding days
Able to life up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, and use a small ladder or step stool
* Must be local to the Asheville area
*This is a W-2 position eligible for mileage reimbursement as needed

As the Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various organizing and styling projects. This role is integral to delivering a seamless experience for our clients and ensuring the highest standards of service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight: Manage organizing projects from initial consultation to final implementation, ensuring all aspects align with the client’s vision and Green Mountain Space’s quality standards.
Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, lifestyles, and goals, creating customized plans to meet their objectives.
Sales Leadership: Leverage a strong sales background to identify client needs, offer tailored solutions, and secure new business opportunities.
Family Systems Knowledge: Utilize expertise in family systems to create organizing solutions that suit the dynamics and routines of family life.
Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate a team of professional organizers, providing guidance and support to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.
Time and Budget Management: Develop project timelines and budgets, monitoring progress to ensure efficient use of resources.
Product and Design Expertise: Apply product knowledge and design experience to recommend storage solutions, furnishings, and layouts that enhance both functionality and aesthetics.
Vendor Coordination: Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other service providers to facilitate renovations, moves, or other client-specific needs.
Quality Assurance: Conduct final reviews of completed projects to confirm client satisfaction and adherence to company standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in project management, preferably in professional organizing, interior design, sales, or a related field.
Strong sales acumen with a proven ability to identify client needs, propose solutions, and close deals.
Knowledge of family systems and their impact on organizing and lifestyle choices.
Familiarity with organizing products, design principles, and styling trends.
Exceptional team leadership and management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Highly organized with attention to detail and a creative approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in project management tools and software is a plus.
Passion for creating functional, beautiful spaces that enhance clients' lives.
Flexible schedule, with the ability to work 20–35+ hours per week.
Position Details
